New video: NUITEQ Snowflake full demonstration

NUITEQ Snowflake, accessible at www.Snowflake.live, is a game-based platform built on the foundations of Universal Design for Learning. Utilizing these concepts,  NUITEQ Snowflake makes content available to all students regardless of learning difference. Using Multiple Means of Engagement, Multiple Means of Action and Expression, and Multiple Means of Representation, we facilitate the delivery of content with text, audio, video, and graphical imagery. Incorporating all modalities of delivery provides an engaging learning environment that makes content accessible to every student.

However, a foundational belief is that we need to move students from "Consumers of Content to Creators of Content". For that reason, we have empowered students to demonstrate mastery of content by incorporating multiple means of action and expression, building content on the same game based platform available to their instructors. Moving students into the role of creator provides students the opportunity to build skills in collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Engagement is a natural process when the student is engaged in their learning process; creating content to demonstrate mastery.

Engagement is moving students into the learning process. Students become part of the process through creating materials of interest to them, in ways that interest them. For some, that may be the traditional sense of using text to demonstrate mastery. However, most students today live in a world of multimedia, and want to build and create in the manner in which they are accustomed to receiving material.

NUITEQ Snowflake provides both a content delivery platform, and a platform for students to create. The Snowflake Teaching and Learning platform comes preloaded with English Language Arts, Math, and Science content for each learning target from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Each lesson comes with a complete Lesson Plan (with differentiation strategies included), auxiliary materials like worksheets or notes, and overarching learning standards include instructional videos
