Our Greek partner iDiA contacted us to ask if we could deliver professional development training around our award-winning educational software NUITEQ Snowflake. The target audience were preschool teachers of the “Ellinogermaniki Agogi” (“Greek-German Education”) school in Athens, Greece. In addition to providing a world-class software product, curriculum aligned content and dedicated technical support, delivering professional development to schools and resellers are key in supporting our partners.
The sessions were delivered at the start of the Greek school year. The educators already had NUITEQ Snowflake installed on their touchscreens and had previously used the solution and wanted to learn more about the possibilities around the online version of NUITEQ Snowflake, which is ideal for in-class as well as remote and hybrid learning.
Teachers were split into 2 groups and attended remote sessions to find out how they can leverage the different functions in NUITEQ Snowflake in order to personalize their instruction and activate their students. The school has a clear focus on developing future skills in their students, and a great interest in implementing technology in the classroom, which makes NUITEQ Snowflake a great fit for them.
Teachers reported that the interactive element of NUITEQ Snowflake lesson activities brings great value to their instruction, as it engages students and makes learning more fun. As learning German is a central part of the school’s curriculum, teachers saw a great opportunity with NUITEQ Snowflake to create lesson activities that help these young students learn the language in a playful way. The software supports over 40+ different languages.
The practical part of the training, when teachers learned how to create a lesson activity on their own, was the part that teachers found the most useful. The cloud based version of NUITEQ Snowflake is a very powerful tool that allows teachers to differentiate their instruction and reach all students. That is why we agreed to meet again and continue working hands-on so that they can unlock the full potential of NUITEQ Snowflake.
