NUI assists National University of Singapore during its 4th NUS Arts Festival (NAF) with its innovative multi-touch technology
The National University of Singapore recently held its 4th NUS Arts Festival (NAF). The focus of this year’s festival is one that would be familiar to most people: the environment and going green. The arts element was woven in, turning it into an Arts & Environment-themed festival.
During the three weekends of the NAF, there were core shows and a host of fringe events – workshops, exhibitions, programs for children, live music performances, and free screenings of international films.
As in previous years, NAF showcases the arts through creative partnerships with various faculties and external industries. This year, NUS Faculty of Science, in addition to celebrating its 80th anniversary at NAF 2009, collaborated with Natural User Interface (NUI), a state-of-the-art Multitouch Systems company, based in Singapore, with its headquarters in Sweden, utilizing their machines to showcase all the media related works of this year's event....
