Teach Students about Climate Change this World Water Day

Teachers worldwide will honor World Water Day on March 22nd, a day dedicated to creating awareness about the importance of clean water and its conservation.

With World Water Day 2020 just around the corner, teachers are preparing their lessons to include activities that aim to educate students about one of our most valuable resources: H20.

Recognized by UNESCO as a way to address the correlation between water and climate change, World Water Day's theme for 2020 aims to encourage everyone to come together to advocate for the sustainable management of water.

To help teachers save time on lesson planning and to allow for personalized learning, NUITEQ's Global Content Department has created ready-made editable Snowflake lesson activities that you can use to fit the lesson plan of your choosing.

How can I use the lesson activities?

When you have a NUITEQ account, you and your students can use them on any device, such as a touchscreen, laptop, Chromebook, or tablet with an internet connection. Just press play to begin.

If your classroom uses technology such as interactive screens, download the lesson activities from snow.live to your computer and use them in Snowflake on your classroom's large touchscreen display. Open the Lesson Activities app and import the lesson activity you want to use.
