Are You The Next Big Edupreneur? | CUE Insights

NUITEQ’s VP of Strategy and Content, Dr. Edward Tse, joined our US partner, Clear Touch Interactive, at the CUE (Computer-Using Educators) conference in Palm Springs, US. There, he met and interviewed several educators. See what happened, in the above video!

From his interview with Alice Chen from WonderTechEdu, we learn that introverts need to express themselves and with today’s technology we have a way to give them a voice. Technology empowers introvert students, builds their confidence and can change their educational direction.

Furthermore, in the video, we learn from Teacher Allen Brooks from San Elijo Middle School, that the role of the teacher is to motivate students. When students are motivated, they’re able to approach and solve a problem creatively. Allen has always advocated for embracing the chaos of creativity in the classroom, and he never ceases to be surprised by what kids can do when they're motivated.

Unlike other EdTech conferences, CUE focuses on helping educators build their brand. Our ability to connect with Educators over social media has led to the rise of Edupreneurs who have a significant impact on the Educational discussion through their books, podcasts, and films. EduMatch is a great way of using each other's networks to connect with the EdTech community.

Edumatch Founder, Dr. Sarah Thomas, explains how the CUE rockstar community supports educators in their journey to become an edupreneur. Furthermore, she underlines the importance of creating and sharing content with peers.

Wrapping up the CUE interview series is Holly Clark, Author of “Google Infused Classroom” who’s been using EdTech from 2001 and from whom we learn more about the next generation of learners.

Check it all out in the above video.
