4 Engaging Activities For Teaching About Peace Day

World Peace Day takes place annually on the 21st of September. Established by the United Nations (UN) in 1981, Peace Day acknowledges the absence of war and violence.

In recent years, schools all over the world organize various activities to teach children more about the importance of peace. With this occasion, the Teachers in our Global Content Department created a few engaging activities that you can use to promote compassion, tolerance, and unity in your classroom.

These activities are easy-to-use and can be edited by teachers to fit any lesson plan, curriculum, or grade needs.
