Chinese company Lenovo, one of the worlds largest PC manufacturers, searched the market for the worlds leading multitouch software, for its stationary All in One A720 PC. After extensive quality assurance processes, NUITEQ’s multitouch software platform Snowflake Suite was selected. The OEM agreement has been signed and all Lenovo A720 computers launched worldwide are equipped with NUITEQ’s software, starting Q2 2012.
When the worlds second largest PC manufacturer knocked on the door of the North Sweden headquartered company NUITEQ, an exciting challenge awaited. The companies collaborated before at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Lenovo was looking for the worlds leading multitouch software solution, with the ambition to find a solution that gives users of its desktop All in One A720 PC, a complete and memorable experience of hardware and software combined.
After the initial selection process, a time intense and well organized quality assurance process took place to determine if multitouch software platform Snowflake Suite could match all of Lenovo’s guidelines and requirements. NUITEQ has an extensive experience in customizing multitouch software and it adapted its applications to Lenovo’s specific requirements. All the steps in the process were successful and the OEM agreement was signed, which resulted in a formal and even closer collaboration between the two companies.

Snowflake Suite makes it possible to use several fingers simultaneously when touching screens and users will for example also be able to play Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja and experience multitouch technology on the A720. Lenovo handpicked five applications (Card Collect, Airhockey, Bugs, Piano and Wong) from the suite that NUITEQ developed and that is now customized and supports localization / multiple languages. This is a world first feature that NUITEQ offers.

As of Q2 2012, NUITEQ’s multitouch software comes pre installed with all Lenovo’s A720 shipped globally.
